Edit and caption your video in the browser

Finish a CueStudio recording with local trimming, English captions, a title card, color adjustments, and wide, square, or vertical video exports.

What can you edit in CueStudio?

CueStudio includes a clip editor in its browser recording workflow. After the original recording transfers from your phone to your desktop, you can trim the take, find silent gaps, add a title card, choose a color look, and prepare an export.

Editing and speech processing happen in the browser. CueStudio’s server helps with temporary device connection information; it does not receive your media or script.

Wait for the original recording

Stop recording and keep your phone camera page open until delivery finishes. Begin editing after the original has reached the desktop. The phone recording is the source take, while the desktop live preview is a monitoring aid.

Review the take before making cuts. Keep a copy of the original when you download so you have it available for another edit later.

Trim and shape the take

Choose the start and end of the part you want to keep. Use silent-gap tools to find pauses, then review those selections before removing them; silence can also be an intentional part of your delivery.

Add a title card when the video needs an introduction. Choose a color look and adjust its intensity to suit the footage. Preview the result before exporting.

Generate English captions and a transcript

CueStudio can generate English captions and a transcript on your desktop using on-device speech recognition. The English speech model downloads on first use; your audio and text are not sent with that download.

Check recognized words against your recording before sharing. You can burn captions into the edited video or download captions and a transcript separately. The six available interface languages do not change the English-only speech model.

Choose a frame and export

Use 16:9 for a wide frame, 1:1 for square, or 9:16 for vertical. Check the crop and make sure your subject, title, and captions fit the chosen frame.

Export the finished clip and keep your original recording. The output file formats available depend on your browser’s encoding support, so inspect the downloaded result before publishing it elsewhere.
